THE VIEWING GUIDE

IPTV on iPhone, iPad and Android

Set up a mobile player safely, keep your account private and understand your data use.

Choose the right mobile app

Use a compatible player from the official iOS App Store or Google Play listing recommended by your provider. Check the publisher and supported login methods. Player availability, features and pricing can differ between iOS and Android.

Your app-store account may be needed for installation. You do not need to share its password with IPTV support.

Add the subscription details

Select the account-login or playlist method supplied with your subscription. Enter the details carefully and wait for the channel groups to load. The player may request separate permissions for notifications or local network features; review them based on the functions you intend to use.

Test on Wi-Fi first

Try your regular channels and an on-demand programme on a stable Wi-Fi connection. Video can use substantial mobile data, especially at higher resolution. Review your mobile plan and choose a lower quality setting when appropriate.

A successful Wi-Fi test does not guarantee identical performance on mobile data. Signal strength, coverage and congestion can all change playback.

Casting and additional screens

Casting support depends on your player, phone and receiving device. Confirm compatibility before relying on it. Casting or using another device may interact with your active-stream allowance, so ask support how your account is configured.

Keep your login private

Do not share playlist URLs, passwords or screenshots showing credentials. Use your device lock and log out before passing an old phone to someone else. If you suspect your details were exposed, ask the provider how to replace them.

Need a hand with your setup?
